20 years is a long time to write the history of a company, to mark its growth and change. Form Design this month crosses this line so we want to take stock of the situation by retracing the path that has brought us here.

Let’s start first from who we are. Our company is part of the excellent Apulian sofa district. With time a strong and well positioned brand is born, Cuborosso. It has originated from the love for Italian design and craftsmanship. We produce sofas, convertible sofas, armchairs, beds and accessories in Puglia using the best technologies, materials and coverings.

In fact, in 20 years we have grown both on the market and internally. We export our production all over the world. Behing the unmistakable style of our products there is not color and harmony of shapes but also functionality, comfort and technology. The design of our sofas makes use of software that allows us to check in advance the mechanical properties and the stresses on the drums. Prototyping is also done in 3D.

Over the course of its history, the company has also been involved in the environment. Sustainability has become part of the public debate and collective consciousness in recent years but Cuborosso has been concerned with its environmental impact for 10 years. In this long time we have not only thought about making quality sofas. We have tried to deliver a better world to the community. We are aware that the road is long but we also believe that change begins with everyone’s choices. Thanks to the installation of solar panels, we produced 681,711.6 kw/h which allowed us to avoid introducing 340,855.8 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere or 0.5 kg for each kw/h produced.

In 20 years Cuborosso has also been close to the territory and to retailers. This year, above all, the Picasso collection toured Italy on a tour that allowed retailers and architects to look closely at the models and experience their quality first hand. These events have taken the name of Discovering Italy because they are also a dedication to our beautiful country. Knowing the Italian beauty it is also possible to know the value of the company, its production and the inspiration that gives it birth.

We have come a long way in these first 20 years but we are ready to go a long way. Ad maiora semper.
